Gluten-free ice creams
However, in principle, and by definition, ice cream is a product that originally would not contain gluten. It isn’t among its usual ingredients, although it is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid—especially when fillings and mix-ins become more complex.
This includes all those ice creams where a range of ingredients comes into play that should put us on alert: cookies, for example, wafers, sponge cake, creams, fillings…
That’s where you need to be careful! Because there’s a good chance the ice cream contains gluten!
